At KISA we are committed to having a facility that is owned by women and operated by women that is safe, secure, aesthetically pleasing, comforting and nurturing for women to heal their mind , body and spirit from addiction while presenting the needed resources to build a strong foundation for sobriety.

Arrival  Day:

When you arrive at KISA you will go through an intake process. This process insures the safety and well being of you, other clients and staff.

  • WHAT TO BRING TO TREATMENT
     Insurance card and ID
     Proof of Income (or any of the following will work)
     a) Paystubs
     b) Income Tax Return
     c) Letter of unemployment benefits
     d) annual benefits letter
     e) bank statements
     f) signed statement of a family member upon which the client is dependent upon for food or
    shelter
    g) signed letter on agency letterhead from a criminal justice staff person or probation officer
     8 days’ worth of casual comfortable clothing, church clothes, boots/enclosed shoes and at
    least 1 pair of jeans
     Personal toiletries—toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, bath soap
     Cell Phone
     Names addresses and phone numbers of:
    o Doctor
    o Attorney
    o Family members
     Prescription card if you have one
     Vision Card (if you have one) 30 day supply of prescribed medications in your name only
     Open mindDUE TO OUTSIDE ACTIVITIES AND WEATHER ELEMENTS
     One week’s worth of clothes, Jeans (seasonal attire) swimsuit
    House shoes or flip flops, sweats. Washer and dryer available
     Tennis shoes
     Church attire (can wear jeans)
     There is limited closet space
     Twin Bedding and Pillow Provided
     Laundry Soap is provided, and a washer/dryer is available for use.
    OPTIONAL ITEMS TO BRING
     Cigarettes, lighter
     Mp3 player, iPod nano (music device allowed if there is NO internet access)
     Headphones

    WHAT NOT TO BRING
     OTC MEDS: Cold medications: Tylenol, aspirin, ibuprofen, etc.
     Television sets
     Weapons of any kind
     Mouthwash with alcohol content
     Aerosol sprays
     Closed mind
     No narcotics/or alcohol
     Personal bedding, pillows

When you arrive  you will work on a treatment plan with our counselors to discuss what type of therapy  will be needed.

You will be introduced to the staff and assigned a room and a locker for your personal belongings.  Our rooms are all a little different and you can choose which one you want if available.  Each room houses 2 ladies. Each room also has a bathroom that is shared by those two ladies.

At KISA we realize that everyone is not a “Morning Person”. Nor do we believe you need to be out of bed at the crack of dawn.  Our wake time is 8:30AM. You will need to be ready for Breakfast and Classes by 9:30AM.

Healthy choices are always on our menu

Breakfast is always a build your own style. KISA will have a breakfast  that will always include fresh grains, fruits yogurt, and eggs.

At KISA you will always have coffee, tea and fruit infused waters to help keep you hydrated.

There will always be fresh fruits and snacks available between meals and any other time.

After breakfast its time to get busy healing your body, mind and soul.  We will have numerous therapies and classes going on as well as individualized treatments. These activities will go on throughout the day on and off the KISA campus.

Lunch will be served around Noon

The day starts winding down about 6:PM.

Dinner will be served around 6:00 PM and we will have daily affirmations over  dinner.

Healthy Dinner

After dinner there will be plenty of activity planned that isn’t mandatory.  You can partake at will. It will include Hiking, Yoga, softball, movies etc.

This will also be your time for laundry and cell phone time.

Bedtime is promptly at 10:30 PM  Sunday thru Thursday and 11:30 PM on Friday and Saturday. Some nights will be later depending on activities.

Family visitation will be on Sunday afternoon from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM After Church.
